As a dancer, choreographer, and actress Anya has performed and worked throughout United States, Europe, and Latin America.
Some of her most current work includes pro dancer for ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" tours and television series, and
principal in Louis Van Amstel's "Ballroom with a Twist."
She also received an LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award nomination this year as "best featured" actress for the musical
"Fascinating Rhythms," starring Melissa Manchester.
Anya has won numerous Ballroom and dance competition titles including US Salsa Champion, American Rhythm Rising Star Champion and Finalist in the World Mambo, American Rhythm, and ESPN World Salsa Championships. Some of her titles on Latin American Television include three-time winner of the dance competition on the popular Latin television show Sabado Gigante. She also appeared on their "Best of 2008" and "The Best of 2006" episodes. Anya placed 2nd on the Mexican TVAZTECA program "Quien tiene Estrella?"
Film and Television credits include appearances on "Dancing with the Stars", "Dance With Me" starring Chayenne and
Vanessa Williams, "The Sinbad Show", "The Guiding Light", The PBS Special "The National Memorial Day Concert", National Geographic's "The Incredible Human Machine" and numerous television commercials and music videos as well as independent film.
Anya has performed in Broadway shows such as "Swing!", and performed on stage and screen with musical artists such as Luis Miguel, Marco Antonio Solis, Celia Cruz, Pilar Montenegro, Debelah Morgan and Luis Miguel.
Anya holds a BA in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA. She has recently co produced her own webisode series entitled "AnyaTV" which
she is excited about. Anya currently lives in Los Angeles.
